A Human Rights Watch publication details the first-ever UN resolution on sexual exploitation and abuse by peacekeepers: Resolution 2272 (2016). During negotiations, UN Security Council members considered analysis from Human Rights Watch and included, “almost verbatim,” the group’s recommendations for survivors.
