This policy brief shows how the “Gender Analysis of Conflict” toolkit can be used in different ways by integrating gender into participatory conflict analysis and research. It shares analysis and findings resulting from combining the expertise of community-based organisations, women’s rights groups, and international and peacebuilding organisations on gender norms and conflict. The conclusions include gender-sensitive conflict analyses of Yemen and Libya, based on literature reviews, experience and knowledge of the contexts, and workshops conducted in partnership with WILPF and Oxfam, and local women’s organisations.
