Anna Haven
Former Fellow
Anna Haven joined the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security as a Policy Research Fellow in June 2018. She has progressive experience in research, policy analysis and project implementation with a thorough grounding in conflict and security studies, human rights and humanitarian reconstruction. Her gender analysis currently focuses on West Africa and the Sahel, Syria, Haiti, and Golan Heights. She has conducted post-conflict reconstruction fieldwork in Colombia with the International Field Program. Anna’s recent work focuses on P/CVE strategies and process disruption through a gendered lens. She has a Masters in International Affairs from the New School with a concentration in Conflict and Security, and graduated Magna cum Laude in Latin American History and Medieval Literature from Hunter College. Anna speaks English, French, Spanish, and studies Arabic in her free time.
